Contra Jet ("Company", "we", or "us") is committed to respecting the privacy of the users of the VidQuarry application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we process it, and why you can use our App with complete security on (Windows) and (Android) systems.

1. Data We Collect and How We Protect It

When you use the App, we collect very limited data strictly to manage your account and subscription:

Account Data

We only collect your (Name and Email Address).

Password Encryption

All user passwords are strictly encrypted in our databases using the highly secure global standard AES-256. No employee or third party can read or access your actual password.

Device Data

Currently, the App does not collect or link personal device identifiers (such as Device ID or MAC Address) to your personal account.

2. Zero-Logs Policy for Downloads

We believe in the absolute privacy of our customers. Accordingly:

  • Neither the VidQuarry App nor Contra Jet servers monitor, know, save, or track any URLs (links) the user copies or downloads videos from.
  • The processing and downloading of video links are executed entirely locally on the user's device and browser. We maintain no technical logs indicating "what" or "from where" the user is downloading.

3. Payment Processing (Third Parties)

To protect you and your financial data, all payments and subscription purchases do not occur within the App and are not stored on our servers:

  • Users are fully redirected to the secure, global payment gateway (Stripe) to complete the transaction.
  • Contra Jet does not collect, store, or view your credit card details or bank account numbers. This data is subject to Stripe's privacy policy, which holds the highest global security certifications.

4. App Permissions and Their Usage

The VidQuarry App requires the following operating system permissions to function properly. We assure you they are used exclusively for their stated technical purposes:

  • Internet Permission: To connect to the network and enable video downloads from platforms.
  • Storage Permission: To allow the App to save downloaded videos and files (which can reach up to 8K resolution) directly to your device.
  • Notifications Permission: To notify the user when a download starts, completes, or if a network error occurs.
  • Display Over Other Apps (Android): This permission is used exclusively to enhance the user experience by displaying a smart, quick download button as soon as you copy a video link from any other application.

5. Advertising and External Services

Paid Plan

Completely ad-free.

Free Plan

The free plan of the App relies on displaying very light, non-intrusive ads supported by third-party advertising networks. These ad networks may collect non-personally identifiable data (such as device type or country) to display relevant ads. We do not share your name or email address with these advertising companies.

6. Performance Tracking and Analytics

We currently do not use any external Software Development Kits (SDKs) to track user performance, monitor their in-app behavior, or collect crash reports. The App operates with complete privacy without any hidden tracking tools.

7. User Rights and Policy Updates

You have the right at any time to modify your account data or request the permanent deletion of your account from our databases by contacting us. Contra Jet also reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy to reflect any technical or legal changes. Users will be notified of any material changes via the App or the website.
